Interested in joining the Winter Skills Academy for the
2024-2025 Indoor Hockey Season?
What is the Viper Academy?
The Viper Academy is a great place to improve on the skills that you have while taking your game play to another level. This program is available to any players from beginner to experienced. Within the 8 weeks, players will develop a better understanding of the indoor game.
Our goal is to develop your playing skills and better prepare you for your school field hockey team or your field hockey experience in the coming years. The Academy Team will receive 1 1/2 hours of weekly instruction.
The Academy is coached by our Viper Club Team Coaching Staff.
Skills taught during the academy:
- Defensive techniques and skills
- Different methods of passing and receiving
- Small game play - movement, passing options
- Stick skills and fundamentals transferrable to the outdoor game
- Proper dribbling techniques
The 2025-26 Skills Academy will practice on the following dates & times:
Academy Dates are:
12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 12/23, 12/30, 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, & 1/27
Times for Each Session:
U10, U12, U14, U16, & U19 : 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Ages:
U19 /U16/U14/ U12 / U10:
on or before 8/1/25
